
Biography
“Daria Nechaeva perfectioned her technic with illustrious masters, representing the tradition of a school of undisputed value that is not limited to a more or less defined and/or valid "Russian" violin school, but to a universal school of violin technique”.

Daria Nechaeva was born in Surgut, Siberia, where she started the study of violin at the age of 5 with E. Melmont. Since 1997 she has been a member of the “New Names” O.N.L.U.S. foundation. During her studies she won many competitions, as the "Regional Competition of Violin" in 1997, “Hope” competition of Krasnoyarsk (1998), the “Interregional Competition of Khanty-Mansijsk”. She was invited to play at the "Open Festival of Strings" in 2001, at the “Nijnij Novgorod Competition” and she won the first prize at the "International Art Competition and Modern Education" in Moscow (2007).

Daria established herself as a soloist from the age of 7 performing with the Surgut Symphony Orchestra. Graduated at the Special Music School of St. Petersburg, with A. Kazarina, then she continued her studies at the Russian Academy “A.S.Znamenskiy” with Master A.Reva, and at the Conservatory of Florence. She improved her musical abilities with Sergey Girhsenko, attending masterclasses with Anatoly Melnikov, Irina Bochkova, R. Zamuruev, Liana Isakadze, Dejan Bogdanovich, Alexander Trostyanskiy, Bruno Canino, Igor Volochine, Pavel Vernikov.
Daria won many international competitions, including the “AnemosCompetition” in Rome (2008), the “Grand Prix” at competition of Tyumen (Russia - 2011) - “Riviera Versilia” international competition in Viareggio and the "Leonardo da Vinci Prize” (Italy - 2014), “Humanitarian Society” in Milan (2014), “Premio Crescendo” Italy, the “Special Prize Carlotta Nobile” for violinists and the “Rotary Symphony” competition in Rome (2016). Daria was invited during her career to play with orchestras such as Cherubini Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Toscana Classica, Orchestra da Camera Fiorentina, the NSO Symphony in Abu Dhabi, Russian Symphony Orchestra in Surgut collaborating with conductors as Paolo Ponziano Ciardi, Gaddiel Dombrowner, Giuseppe Lanzetta, Damiano Tognetti and many others.
Her performances as soloist include concerts in Russia and in Europe, in Athens, Vienna, Rome, Florence, Manntta, Barcelona, and UAE, in Abu Dhabi, Fujairah. Her interest for the chamber music allowed to collaborate with many musicians and artists as Giovanni Gnocchi, Ilana Vered, Johnatan Ferrucci, Irina Akhrin, Margarita Bakurina.

She’s regularly invited to many important festival as the Paganini Guitar Festival (Parma), the Festival del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino (Florence), Festival deiDue Mondi (Spoleto), the prestigious “Music Fest Perugia” (Perugia), teaching to young talented violinists from all around the world, and many others. She regularly hold masterclasses and lessons in many academies in Europe and many other countries. In 2020/2021, Daria was invited to teach as Professor at the Fujairah Fine Arts Academy, the first public Conservatory of the Middle East, in the UAE. In 2022, she will be teaching at the International Musica Academy in Florence.
